Yeasts were all the buzz at the recent FEW18, Fuel Ethanol Workshops, as companies shift toward improving efficacy in ethanol production. Scientists at the workshops discussed new products aimed at increasing ethanol yield; reducing glycerol production and yeast fermentation time; and boosting production efficiency.
